6140 Personnel Services CommentsTeachers (Applicants) must have a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.

You must possess a valid Professional Florida Educator's Certificate or have applied and received a Florida Statement of Eligibility with the status of "Eligible" showing certification in Educational Leadership, Administration/Supervision, or School Principal.

You must provide three (3) School District of Manatee County Administrative Pool References. Two of the three references submitted MUST be from either current or former supervisors. References cannot be over three (3) years old and must be submitted on our district forms. You may use our electronic Admin Pool e-reference for or print the forms by clicking on Additional Forms, then "Administrative Pool References".

You must provide a current Resume. This can be submitted electronically by clicking on Send Documents and select "Resume - Admin Pool".

Administrative Pool written screening will occur on the second Thursday in October. Applicants must complete all sections of the online application, submit resume, administrative references (3), and meet all minimum qualifications prior to taking the Written Screening. Qualified applicants will be notified when eligible to take the Written Screening. An e-mail will be sent with the information including date, time and place of the screening. Human Resources does not schedule the Written Screening.
Applicants are required to submit an application for employment on-line. Applicants who do not have access to a computer and the internet from home, may use a computer located in the lobby in the office of the Human Resources Department, School District of Manatee County, located at 215 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida 34205.

All newly hired employees will be required to pay a $50 application fee and $90 fingerprint fee, upon employment. All applicants being recommended for hire will be required to take and pass a drug test prior to completion of the hiring process. All applicants being recommended for hire will be required to complete an on-line course given by the Florida Department of Children and Families called "Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect".

Current School District employees interested in applying for job postings and transfers must also apply on-line and select a current posting. The application has been abbreviated to make the process easier. Applicants can track the progress of their application and easily select any and all future job postings.

Applicants MUST update their on-line application ANY TIME there is a change in status, i.e. change of address, change of phone number, recent arrest, notification of an investigation by another school district or DOE, etc.
